If you would like to sample our wines, you are welcome to do so at any time during our wine shop’s opening hours, without needing to book in advance.
Exercise – fresh air – relaxation
The wine walk begins with a glass of WASEM wine outside the wine shop. After a busy day, the tour takes you through historic Ober-Ingelheim to the premier vineyards of Ingelheim. Here, from a vantage point high up in the vineyards, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Ingelheim and a sweeping vista of the Rhine Valley stretching all the way to the gateway of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the wine table – amidst a sea of vines – there is the opportunity for a short wine tasting with light refreshments. Along the way, all participants will learn about the history of Ingelheim and interesting facts about Ingelheim wine and its cultivation. Naturally, there will also be plenty of time for conversation and interaction within the group. *
- Duration of the walk: approx. 1.5–2 hours
- Number of participants: at least 10 people
- Cost: Wine walk + 2 glasses of wine: €15 per person
- In addition: Light refreshments with two wines and small Rheinhessen snacks at the wine table: an additional €15 per person

Wine production – artisanal sparkling wine production – historic wine cellar
The cellar tour begins with a glass of WASEM wine outside the wine shop. We will then show you the historic WASEM winery – a former noble estate – situated above Engelthal Abbey. In the historic wine cellar, you will learn about the cultivation and maturation of the wines, as well as wine storage. By candlelight, the tour leads past old and new barrels into the sparkling wine cellar. There, you will learn everything about the production of our WASEM sparkling wine. The cellar tour concludes with a glass of sparkling wine for every guest. *
- The cellar tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

- Cost: Cellar tour + 1 glass of wine + 1 glass of sparkling wine: €15 per person

Friendly – culinary – uncomplicated
Get a glimpse into the world of wine whilst enjoying delicious accompaniments from our monastery kitchen. We’ll give you a brief introduction to our vineyard and explain how the wines and food pair together. Afterwards, you’ll be free to chat amongst yourselves and discuss the tasting in detail. This slightly different kind of wine tasting also makes an excellent starter for your guests, friends and colleagues.
- 3 wines – 3 delicacies, approx. 30 minutes, €20 per person
- 5 wines – 5 delicacies, approx. 45 minutes, €30 per person

Culinary wine tastings
Feast to your heart’s content and enjoy the perfect wines from our vineyard to accompany your meal. We serve two wines with each course of the menu, each accompanied by detailed commentary from our wine experts. Choose between a 3-course or 4-course menu. */**
- A three-course meal with one aperitif and five wines
- Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
- Cost: €79 per person
- A four-course meal with one aperitif and seven wines
- Duration: 3 hours
- Cost: €99 per person

Traditional wine tasting
Enjoy a traditional tasting of six wines at a guided wine tasting. We will serve you bread and water to accompany the wines. *
