A warm welcome
We are delighted that you have found your way to our website. Here, we are happy to provide you with information on wine, the monastery and the hotel. You can also conveniently browse our wines in our online shop. Burgundy wines are particularly special to Ingelheim and our winery. We prefer to age all our red wines in double-walled wooden barrels. As well as wines, you’ll also find all sorts of wine-related items. Or why limit yourself? Give friends and family the chance to enjoy wine in all its forms. Whether online or in-store, the voucher can be redeemed anywhere and for anything. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us directly. We’d be happy to advise you in person, by email or over the phone. Why not take the opportunity to visit us at one of our many on-site events? Our wine shop also offers the chance to taste wines directly seven days a week.
The Wasem family

300 Years of the Wasem Winery
Since 1726, the Wasem Winery has stood for viticulture with integrity, heritage and passion. In 2026, the family-run business in Ingelheim will celebrate its 300th anniversary – with a special anniversary year centred around the traditional farm festival at Engelthal Monastery. From 3 to 6 June, the enjoyment of wine, hospitality and culture will come together. The highlight to kick things off: an exclusive open-air concert by Tom Gregory in the historic monastery garden. Three centuries of tradition, reimagined – join us in celebrating the past, present and future of viticulture.
For us, tradition means always doing things just a little bit better.
One should treat one’s body well, so that the soul is happy to dwell within it.
Warm, friendly and welcoming, we’ll make sure your stay with us is first-class.

Julius Wasem was honoured as the best young winemaker at the LagenCup Rot 2023.

Just the right time to enjoy our crispy whole Oldenburg free-range goose with a glass of red wine. Our goose comes in traditional style , with homemade red cabbage and homemade potato dumplings, served with a mugwort jus, baked apple and chestnuts.
